Welcome to The Episcopal Church of the Atonement, where we are drawn in by grace and reach out in love. We are a congregation of about 325 people who live in and around Westfield, Massachusetts. We worship God on Sunday mornings at 10 am, and during the week on Wednesdays at Noon and Thursdays at 6:30 pm.
Our services are in English, and many feature beautiful music of all styles. We have a "sacramental" understanding of God and celebrate God's presence in the Bread and Wine of the Holy Eucharist and the Water of Holy Baptism. Children are always welcome to worship with us!
We have made some changes to our usual styles in order to stay safe during the pandemic. Many of our worship and formation activities are online. All are welcome to join us: believers, questioners, seekers, observers!
We are a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Western Massachusetts. Our bishop is the Rt. Rev. Dr. Douglas J. Fisher, and we join with him and over fifty other churches and ministries to serve the people of God from Worcester west to the New York border.
With our diocese, we are members of The Episcopal Church. We welcome all who worship Jesus Christ, in 111 dioceses and regional areas in 17 nations. The Episcopal Church is a member province of the worldwide Anglican Communion.
